Jan Ploski – Principles of conduct
In contacts with my clients I pay special attention to
- rational decision making,
- and factual communication.
As my client you are best aware of your own core competencies and can freely decide to which extent you wish to delegate or follow up on decisions. In line with your interests, I inform you more or less extensively about all decision-relevant facts through ongoing communication and/or written technical documentation. You always retain the last word without causing conflicts or - as is sometimes the case when relying on co-workers within a company - having to consider political side-effects of expressing disagreement. On the other hand, I expect from you to provide me with adequate access to the necessary information or contact persons and an open communication channel throughout a project.
Based on extensive positive experience and economic efficiency, I prefer projects that can be completed to a considerable extent using modern communication tools (tele-working). This option is evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the prospective roles, required intensity of communication, client profile and requirements, and my current work load imposed by other clients.
If you have a project idea, a cooperation offer, or any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me without obligation. After assessing your needs, determining the necessary qualifications and checking time and resource constraints, I will send you a project proposal whose acceptance begins the cooperation or alternatively a notice explaining the reasons of rejection. Depending on the project type, the billing is done per hour or through one or more fixed-price contracts. (If the project proposal requires preparation of written specifications, it may have to be billed separately, depending on the volume of specifications.) In any case, you are informed up-front about the work that needs to be done and the estimated costs.
